Description

The Askar 60F is an OTA featuring a 60 mm aperture and 408 mm focal length with a native focal ratio of f/6.8. Its quadruplet air-spaced optical design includes one ED glass element, effectively reducing chromatic aberration. It provides a 44 mm full-frame image circle with excellent edge performance.
With its built-in field flattener, no additional corrector or back-focus calculation is needed. Simply attach the camera, focus, and you are ready to capture images.
Weighing only 2.5 kg (3 kg including rings and dovetail plate), the 60F is highly portable for visual or photographic use. It includes a photographic extension tube with a built-in 2" filter thread and M48×0.75 / M54×0.75 adapters, ensuring compatibility with DSLRs and astronomy cameras.
The retractable dew shield improves compactness, and the internal matting felt further reduces stray light. The blue-and-white exterior, CNC machining, and refined paintwork highlight its high-quality build.
A finder base slot is integrated into the handle, and two additional finder bases on the focuser provide multiple accessory mounting options without disassembly.
The 2.4" dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser offers 1:10 fine adjustment, with an anti-slip fine-tuning knob and a 360° rotator with engraved scale.
The 230 mm Vixen-style dovetail plate includes 1/4" and 3/8" threaded holes for direct tripod attachment.
