Antlia 1.25" Dualband Ha CaK
New product
The Antlia Solar Discover Dualband Filter Mini is a solar filtering system designed for solar photosphere imaging. Integrating Ha 656.3 nm, CaK 393.3 nm and CaH 396.8 nm passbands together with an ERF filter and factory-installed ND filter, it enhances contrast, sharpness and visibility of solar details.

The Antlia Solar Discover Dualband Ha CaK CaH Filter Assembly Mini is a dedicated solar imaging system specifically developed for solar photosphere photography. Designed to reveal fine solar surface structures, it significantly improves image contrast and sharpness while enhancing the visibility of sunspots and solar faculae.
The complete assembly includes an Antlia Energy Rejection Filter ERF that blocks ultraviolet and infrared radiation while allowing the desired wavelengths Ha 656.3 nm, CaK 393.3 nm and CaH 396.8 nm to pass through. A necessary ND filter is also factory installed within the assembly.
The mechanical design uses a new tube structure similar to the Antlia CaK 3 nm Solar Herschel Wedge. The telescope connects at one end and the camera at the other. All optical components are housed inside a fully enclosed tube machined from aircraft-grade aluminum using CNC manufacturing and finished with anodization. This design prevents stray light leakage.
Compared with traditional solar films, the Antlia Solar Discover Dualband assembly provides higher image contrast, greater solar surface resolution and improved durability. The design is less susceptible to wear while remaining easy to use for regular solar imaging applications.
The system is designed for direct solar photosphere imaging and is particularly suitable for imaging sunspots and solar faculae.
The Mini version incorporates a 1.25-inch connection format and is designed for simple integration with compatible astrophotography equipment.
For refractors with apertures greater than 100 mm, an additional light reduction solution such as an ERF filter, solar safety film or reduced telescope aperture is mandatory. Without additional light reduction, the Solar Discover Dualband Assembly may only be used with refractors up to 100 mm aperture.
Due to technical and safety considerations, Antlia does not recommend the Solar Discover Dualband Ha CaK CaH Filter Assembly for visual observation. If visual use is attempted, all integrated filters must be verified to be in perfect condition before operation.
The assembly includes a 3-year manufacturer warranty. Disassembly is prohibited and immediately voids the warranty, making repairs, returns or exchanges unavailable.
