Designed for wide-field astrophotography and visual observation, the Sky-Watcher Evolux 62ED uses a 62 mm ED apochromatic doublet with a 400 mm focal length and f/6.45 focal ratio.
Its objective incorporates an ED glass element and features Sky-Watcher MHTC multi-coatings, with stated light transmission of up to 99.5%.
The 2.4-inch dual-speed 11:1 rack-and-pinion focuser incorporates an indexed drawtube for precise focusing.
Compact and portable, the Evolux 62ED features a retractable dew shield, clamshell mounting ring with 45 mm dovetail bar and is supplied in a foam-lined aluminium carrying case.
62 mm ED Apochromatic Doublet
The objective uses an air-spaced apochromatic doublet design incorporating one extra-low-dispersion ED glass element.
This design greatly reduces chromatic aberration and provides sharp stars and high-contrast images.

2.4-Inch Dual-Speed 11:1 Focuser
Focusing is provided by a 2.4-inch dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser.
The 11:1 reduction provides precise fine focusing, particularly useful for astrophotography.
The indexed drawtube assists with reproducing previous focus positions.
2-Inch Visual Adapter
A 2-inch visual adapter with compression ring is supplied.
This secures compatible accessories without tightening a screw directly against their body.
Retractable Dew Shield
The dew shield retracts to reduce the overall size of the optical tube for transport and storage.
