Description

The Askar 0.7x is a universal 3 inch optical reducer developed for the Askar 107PHQ, 130PHQ and 151PHQ astrographs. Its optical design is based on a triplet structure including one ED glass element, providing effective correction for astronomical imaging. When connected to the astrograph, it reduces the focal ratio, significantly shortens exposure times and increases the observable field, offering more flexibility for deep sky astrophotography.
The mechanical back focus is standardized at 55 mm, allowing easy integration with common imaging setups. The reducer is supplied with three threaded adapters M68, M54 and M48, enabling convenient and versatile connection to different optical systems and accessories. This universal design ensures broad compatibility while maintaining reliable performance for advanced astrophotography applications.
