DESCRIPTION
The Celestron f/6.3 Reducer-Corrector shortens the focal length of your Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope by 37%, converting an f/10 optical system to f/6.3. It threads directly to the rear cell of compatible SCTs (C5, C6, C8, C9.25, C11, C14), but is not compatible with EdgeHD models.
By reducing focal length and correcting field curvature, it flattens the image for better edge sharpness—ideal for both visual and photographic use. It also allows shorter exposure times and wider framing when imaging.
Built from precision-machined black anodized aluminum, the housing includes internal glare-threading to reduce stray light. All lens surfaces are fully multi-coated for maximum light transmission. Compatible with accessories like T-adapters, diagonals, and off-axis guiders.
