DESCRIPTION
This Tecnosky 0.8× reducer/corrector uses a four-element optical design to improve field correction and reduce chromatic aberration. It is intended for use with refractors of 400 to 600 mm focal length, especially Tecnosky models like the ED70, ED80, EDT80, and 80 Apo Triplet.
The reducer features a 2" barrel for direct insertion into standard focusers. The camera side provides a T2 thread (M42×0.75 mm), offering wide compatibility with imaging accessories and adapters.
The required backfocus depends on the focal length of the optical tube, as shown below.
