DESCRIPTION
This apochromatic refractor from Tecnosky's OWL optics series is built around a triplet design using a central synthetic fluorite lens (Ohara FPL55), with FMC anti-reflective coatings and blackened lens edges. It is extremely compact (385 mm with retracted dew shield) and lightweight (3.9 kg), making it perfectly suited for both observing and astrophotography.

The CNC-machined aluminum tube includes internal baffles and a retractable dew shield. The new 2.5" precision rack-and-pinion focuser is rotatable, features a 1:10 micro-focus knob, and includes a built-in field rotator. Both the 2" and 1.25" adapters feature self-centering Quick-Lock clamps.

The newly designed raised tube rings allow use of long Vixen or Losmandy dovetails to balance even with heavy cameras. A versatile handle with integrated Vixen dovetail and multiple holes and slots is mounted on top.

Each telescope includes an individual optical certificate with a minimum Strehl ratio of 0.95. Combined with the 0.8x Tecnosky reducer, it becomes an f/4.8 astrograph. Also compatible with 1x and 0.8x full-frame flatteners.
