    Description:
    The iOptron HAE16C Dual AZ/EQ hybrid mount redefines portability and precision. Featuring a compact 5.7 lbs head and an impressive 18 lbs payload capacity without counterweight, it uses cutting-edge StrainWave harmonic drive on RA and backlash-free worm/belt system on DEC for unparalleled tracking performance.

    Its black anodized all-metal CNC body ensures durability and structural integrity. The RA axis includes an electronic friction brake to safely halt the mount during power loss. Dual-axis zero position sensors allow automatic homing and initialization.

    The mount includes stationary power and USB-C ports on both base and saddle, reducing cable drag during operation—ideal for mobile imaging setups.

    Control is possible via ASCOM/iOptron Commander (Windows), INDI (Linux/MacOS/Raspberry Pi), or mobile apps like iOptron Commander Lite or SkySafari over built-in Wi-Fi. Optional Go2Nova 8411 hand controller and iPolar electronic polar scope expand alignment and GoTo capabilities.
