The Tecnosky 110/528 F/4.8 OWL PRO Series refractor is a top-tier instrument designed for demanding astrophotographers. It features a high-quality FMC triplet objective using premium Japanese Hoya FDC100 glass, delivering true Apo performance with excellent contrast.
It includes a 4-element ED field flattener/reducer, aligned and optimized inside each OTA. The corrected field fully covers Full Frame sensors, ideal for use with modern CMOS cameras.
Its 3.2" rack-and-pinion focuser supports up to 6 kg payloads. A camera rotator is integrated, and the back thread is M48 x 0.75 with a 55 mm backfocus, allowing the use of 2” filters. The micrometric focusing knob ensures perfect collimation and ultra-precise focusing.
The CNC-machined tube includes strong mounting rings, a long Vixen-style bar, and an Arca-Swiss compatible handle. A custom-fitted aluminium transport case is provided for protection.
Every telescope is delivered with an individual interferometric certificate ensuring a minimum Strehl ratio of 0.95. Though designed for imaging, this refractor can achieve 350x magnification with 1.25” eyepieces.

According to our optical tests, this refractor showed perfect collimation also thanks to the simple 3-point frontal collimation system.

This OTA is individually tested and aligned for maximum optical performance. The optical system provides perfect collimation and a fully corrected image circle for Full Frame sensors. It is ideal for deep-sky imaging with unmatched precision and clarity.
