The first model of the Apo SLD refractor series with 110 mm diameter and 528 mm, very fast focal ratio of F/4.8!

The FMC triplet is made up of a Hoya FDC100 glass element equivalent to the FPL53, with true APO rendering and very high contrast!

The four-element corrector/reducer assembly is optimized, individually, for each telescope and is arranged precisely inside the optical tube: the corrected field covers the Full Frame format, therefore compatible with modern CMOS cameras with small pixels!

This refractor is equipped with an imposing 3.2" rack-and-pinion focuser suitable for heavy loads of up to 6 kg!

On the side of the tube, there is a field rotator without play, very practical, and a flange giving the possibility of adjusting the inclination of the sensor in relation to the corrector! Connection is M48 x 0.75 with 55mm backfocus and 2" female filter thread.

The equipment is completed by a pair of robust CNC machined rings, a handle with Arka-Swiss attachment and a long Vixen bar.

To protect such a prestigious telescope, a very robust aluminum case with spaces for accessories is also provided.

Although this is an instrument designed for high-level astrophotography, a 2" quick-release adapter and a 1.25" self-centering focuser are additionally provided.

Thanks to the high optical quality, proven by the interferometric certificate, this triplet 110 can reach 350x magnification without problem!

Like the entire OWL series, an individual interferometer certificate is provided with each instrument                      

According to our optical tests, this refractor showed perfect collimation also thanks to the simple 3-point frontal collimation system.

Each telescope is checked on an optical bench before delivery!
