Description:

The ZWO FF65 is a compact high-performance apochromatic astrograph designed for wide-field astrophotography. Featuring a 65 mm diameter and a 416 mm focal length (F/6.4), it offers an excellent balance between portability and optical quality.

Its quintuplet design combines a front ED triplet with a rear doublet corrector, producing a flat, high-contrast field across a 44 mm image circle. This makes the FF65 ideal for full-frame CMOS sensors, delivering pinpoint stars from edge to edge.

The retractable dew shield measures 88 mm in diameter, and the total retracted length is just 328 mm, making it perfect for travel. The 2.5" Rack & Pinion focuser features 1:10 fine adjustment and full 360° rotation for ideal framing. The drawtube travel is 47 mm.

The focuser includes 3 adapter rings for M68, M54 and M48 threads, plus 2" and 1.25" visual back adapters. The M48 adapter also features an internal female thread for standard 2" filters.

A 300 mm Vixen-style dovetail bar is included for mounting on equatorial mounts. The integrated handle also allows the attachment of a guide scope or finder (not included).

While optimized for imaging, the FF65 is capable of high-quality lunar and planetary observations.
