Lightweight and portable alt-azimuth mount for astronomical and terrestrial observation with a 5 kg payload capacity. The Sky-Watcher AZ5 Deluxe features slow-motion controls on both axes, a 45 mm saddle and an extendable aluminium tripod.
Designed for simple and portable use, the Sky-Watcher AZ5 Deluxe is an alt-azimuth mount intended for small telescopes weighing up to 5 kg and fitted with a compatible 45 mm dovetail bar.
Its cast-aluminium construction keeps the system lightweight and highly portable. This design makes it suitable for both astronomical viewing and daytime terrestrial observation.
Two flexible slow-motion cables are supplied, one for vertical movement and one for horizontal movement. They allow precise adjustment of the instrument during observation.
Both axes can also be moved manually for rapid panning and elevation changes.
This combination of fast manual movement and precise slow-motion control also makes it easy to track distant moving objects visually.

The AZ5 Deluxe has a payload capacity of 5 kg.
