Unlike universal reducers, this reducer also provides adequate back focus for a range of photographic equipment.

The 0.7X EdgeHD reducer includes lenses with extreme refractive indices, including lanthanum lenses with a very low dispersion. As a result, the particularly high contrast offered by Edge HD optics remains undiminished, despite the many additional lenses in the light path, and there is no chromatic aberration over a very wide spectral range.

Each glass/air surface in this lens system has been multi-coated to ensure maximum light transmission and colour fidelity. All lens edges have been meticulously blackened to completely suppress internal reflections.

The carefully CNC machined aluminium housing ensures precise spacing and correct alignment of the lenses. A metal screw cap is provided to protect the Edge-HD reducer from dust and damage when not in use.
