Description

The Askar 1x corrector for the 120APO is an optical accessory specifically optimized for the Askar 120APO apochromatic refractor. Once installed, it maintains the native 840 mm focal length and f/7 focal ratio while effectively correcting field curvature and coma. Its triplet optical design delivers a corrected image circle covering full-frame sensors up to 44 mm, ensuring fine and consistent star shapes across the entire field. The corrector features a standard 55 mm back focus measured from the base of the M48 male thread. The front thread is M84x1. Camera-side adapters M54x0.75 and M48x0.75 are supplied, with the M48 adapter incorporating an internal 2-inch filter thread. The complete assembly is CNC machined and supplied with threaded metal dust caps to protect the optics when not in use.
