Description

The Askar 80PHQ 0.76x is a 3 inch optical reducer specifically developed for the Askar 80PHQ astrograph. It is based on a triplet optical design and provides a 0.76x reduction factor. When used with the 80PHQ f7.5 astrograph, it delivers a reduced focal ratio of f5.7 and a resulting focal length of 456 mm. This configuration shortens exposure times and improves overall efficiency for deep sky astrophotography.
The reducer operates with a standard back focus of 55 mm. It is supplied with a four piece photographic adapter system designed to connect directly to the focuser thread during use. A built in M48x0.75 filter thread allows convenient installation of 2 inch filters within the imaging setup.
The reducer is manufactured using CNC machining to ensure precise mechanical tolerances and a refined finish suitable for demanding astrophotography applications.
