Description
The Baader FCCT II (Filter Changer Camera Tilter) is a dedicated solution for the Celestron RASA 8 telescope. It integrates both a filter drawer system and a mechanical tilter for camera alignment. Designed for QHY cameras with 90 mm diameter such as QHY 268M, 294, and 533.
It enables fast insertion of unmounted filters and very fine adjustment of the filter-camera unit’s position in the optical train – without unscrewing the camera. This makes working with the RASA 8 more efficient and enjoyable.
The FCCT II is compatible with all QHY 268M variants, including the revised model (from June 2023) with raised heating board. It remains compatible with earlier QHY 268M units.
Dedicated 3D-printed filter holders are available for unmounted filters of 31 mm, 36 mm and 2" size (without cell). All Baader 2" filters can be used if removed from their housing.
