Description
The Sky Watcher Dobson 150 Virtuoso GTi is a compact tabletop Newtonian telescope designed to deliver high-quality visual observations while remaining easy to transport and store. Its 150 mm parabolic primary mirror and 750 mm focal length provide a fast F/5 optical system suitable for observing the Moon, planets and numerous deep sky objects.
Its patented collapsible optical tube significantly reduces storage dimensions without compromising optical performance. Once extended, the supplied red dot finder allows quick manual pointing before engaging the automatic tracking system.
The Virtuoso GTi Dobsonian mount incorporates a fully motorized GoTo system with integrated WiFi connectivity. Wireless telescope control is available from a smartphone or tablet using the free SynScan Pro application for iOS and Android. The mount is also compatible with the SynScan hand controller.
Freedom Find dual encoder technology enables manual movement of the telescope without losing alignment or stored GoTo information, providing greater flexibility during observing sessions.
Powered by a 12 V DC supply, the Sky Watcher Dobson 150 Virtuoso GTi includes two 1.25 inch Super eyepieces of 25 mm and 10 mm. It is capable of revealing Saturn's rings, Jupiter's cloud bands, the Martian polar ice caps, the phases of Venus, the Moon and numerous deep sky objects.
