    This eyepiece is based upon a 12.5mm Plössl. Good field definition and comfortable viewing position make this eyepiece a good solution for a sensible price.

    The illumination is continously variable in order to adapt it to the guide star's brightness.

    The double crosshair section enables you position your guide star exactly on its position. When aligning a GoTo system, you can synchronize the reference stars very precisely.


    Our hints for use:

    For guiding, we recommend you to position the eyepiece in that way that one crosshair is parallel to the R.A. motion.
    You can reach this by slewing the mount back & forth in R.A. and turn the eyepiece until the star runs inside one parallel section.
    Now you can see immediately while guiding if the guide star "escapes" in R.A. or Dec. and perform the right corrections.
