With a 310 mm aperture and a fast f/3.8 focal ratio, the SCA310 captures light with exceptional efficiency. This significantly reduces exposure times and increases productivity in deep-sky astrophotography, revealing fine details and rich colors even in the faintest nebulae.
The SCA310 is a Cassegrain telescope whose primary mirror features a high-precision parabolic design. This aspheric mirror requires extremely demanding polishing and testing techniques to effectively eliminate spherical aberration and ensure sharp, round star images.
The matching spherical secondary mirror is made of fused silica, offering excellent thermal stability. It allows a long optical path to be folded into a compact tube, combining high performance with good portability.
Both the primary and secondary mirrors are treated with enhanced aluminum coatings, ensuring reflectivity greater than 95% and fully optimizing light utilization efficiency.

A 3-inch triplet coma corrector is integrated at the rear of the optical tube. It includes one ED glass element and effectively corrects field curvature and coma, ensuring sharp, round stars from the center to the edges of the image.
The SCA310 is specially optimized for medium format and fully covers full-frame sensors, providing near-100% illumination and a perfectly flat field, even when using full-frame cameras.
The optical structure of the SCA310 has been carefully optimized. No additional back-focus calculation is required during imaging, allowing for quick and easy focusing and greatly simplifying the imaging process.
The optical tube is made of carbon fiber, which is both lightweight and robust. This material effectively reduces overall weight while offering excellent structural stability and strong temperature adaptability, preventing focus shift caused by thermal expansion and contraction and ensuring consistent imaging performance.

The high-rigidity 3.5-inch rack-and-pinion focuser features an upgraded 28 mm focusing travel, providing a wider focusing range. The dual-speed adjustment knob supports a 1:10 fine reduction for precise focusing. The load capacity is enhanced; even with multiple accessories attached, operation remains stable and smooth, with no slippage.
The focuser is equipped with a front-mounted 360° rotator, effectively preventing cable wrap during use. At the rear, multiple threaded adapters (M68 / M54 / M48) ensure broad compatibility with most mainstream imaging equipment, enabling precise and effortless focusing. The M48 adapter includes a built-in 2-inch filter thread, allowing direct filter installation during imaging.

The SCA310 also integrates three efficient cooling fans at the rear. These fans can be activated before observation to rapidly cool the primary mirror, accelerate thermal equilibrium, and significantly enhance both observing efficiency and the overall user experience.
Choosing the SCA310 means beginning an efficient, stable, and deeply rewarding journey into deep-sky exploration.
