DESCRIPTION
The Celestron C8 OTA is a modern evolution of the original groundbreaking C8, with 203 mm aperture and 2032 mm focal length at f/10. It features Celestron’s StarBright XLT optical coatings for enhanced brightness and contrast, offering detailed planetary views and deep sky performance.
This tube is Fastar compatible, allowing astrophotographers to remove the secondary mirror and insert a CCD camera at f/2 focus (with appropriate lens system), achieving extremely fast exposures.
Made of lightweight aluminum, the tube is only 43 cm long and weighs just 5.67 kg, making it ideal for transport and setup. It includes a 25 mm eyepiece (81x), 6x30 finderscope, 1.25" diagonal, visual back, and CGE dovetail.
