DESCRIPTION
The Celestron Advanced VX 8" is a 203 mm Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope combining portability, performance, and precision. It features StarBright XLT optical coatings for superior contrast and light transmission. With a 2032 mm focal length (f/10), it delivers detailed views of the Moon, planets, and deep-sky objects.
The German equatorial AVX mount provides accurate tracking with DC servo motors and a 40,000+ object database. Advanced features include All-Star alignment, programmable PEC, autoguider port, and three AUX ports. It accepts both CG-5 and CGE dovetails and is compatible with Vixen-format plates longer than 100 mm.
This complete system is ideal for astronomers seeking a powerful yet portable setup. Included: 25 mm eyepiece, 6x30 finderscope, star diagonal, dual dovetail saddle, 12 lb counterweight, power cable, hand control holder, and Starry Night software.
