DESCRIPTION
The iOptron iPolar is a smart electronic polar scope designed to ensure fast and highly accurate polar alignment. This version is tailored to be internally installed on CEM120 mounts.
Using enhanced imaging and smart plate solving, the iPolar achieves 30 arcsecond alignment precision. It provides on-screen guidance during the procedure and automatically adjusts to northern or southern hemisphere use.
The system operates independently of sky visibility and does not require the pole star to be seen. With appropriate adapters, the iPolar can be installed on a wide variety of mounts, including models from iOptron, Losmandy, Takahashi, and Celestron.
