The Baader 8" heavy-duty double mounting plate is built for professional parallel telescope configurations, supporting a total payload of up to 150 kg. With a length of 750 mm and a width of 203 mm (8"), it is the ideal solution for mounting two large OTAs side by side—such as a PlaneWave DeltaRho 500 combined with another refractor or astrograph.

It is compatible with heavy-duty mounts like the 10Micron GM 3000 / GM 4000 and PlaneWave L-500 / L-600 direct drive mounts. The extended length of the plate enables precise balancing and leaves ample room for accessory installation.

The plate is pre-drilled for attaching a variety of clamps and accessories, including the Baader PAN Adjuster, Baader PAN EQ clamps (190 mm, 230 mm, 370 mm), and the Baader 8" PlaneWave Clamp (#2451555). When used with this clamp, the entire plate can slide laterally for fine-tuning balance on the mount.
