The Antlia LRGBR+ Dark Series 2’’ filters are designed for full-spectrum astrophotography, covering wavelengths from 390nm to 1000nm. Sensitive to both UV and IR, they maximize signal detection and contrast for deep-sky imaging.
Manufactured from quartz glass with an ultra-low thermal expansion coefficient, they ensure exceptional mechanical strength, optical stability, and long-term durability under demanding environmental conditions.
The set includes an additional R+ filter (700–1000nm) to capture near-infrared signals, taking advantage of high quantum efficiency cameras. During post-processing, users can combine the R and R+ channels to create an enhanced red channel before standard LRGB processing.
The LRGBR+ Dark filters pair perfectly with Antlia SHO 2.8nm and 2.5nm Ultra Narrowband filters, sharing the same quartz substrate and refractive index for optimal parfocality.
With transmission levels ≥95% for the B filter and ≥97% for L, R, and G, the OD4.5 (0.005%) out-of-band blocking prevents unwanted light and reduces halos around bright stars.
Each filter is finely double-polished, scratch-resistant, edge-coated, and mounted in an ultra-thin black anodized cell with permanent laser engraving to minimize vignetting and maximize the clear aperture.
Not suitable for solar or direct visual observation. Backed by a 3-year warranty against delamination.
