Description
The ADPS (Afocal Digital Projection System) is designed for afocal projection setups with compact digital cameras when the lens cannot be removed. Unlike classic OPFA projection systems for DSLR cameras, the ADPS allows for extremely precise adjustment of the distance between the projection eyepiece and the camera lens, avoiding vignetting and ensuring a sharp image.
This ADPS IV base version includes a T-2 sliding focuser for eyepieces up to 38 mm in diameter, a male-to-female T-2i locking ring for free camera rotation, and three T-2 extension tubes (two 15 mm and one 7.5 mm) to set the required projection distance. All components use T-2 threading, offering broad compatibility with the Baader Astro T-2 accessory line.
The system is modular and can be completed with DT adapter rings (not included) to connect your specific camera’s front lens thread. Its rigid and adjustable construction ensures a stable connection between camera and eyepiece, eliminating wobble. It mounts to any focuser with a female T-2 thread using available Baader adapters.
