Description:
The Tecnosky Precision 2" S focuser is a robust rack and pinion unit designed to support heavy imaging setups with no flex or play, ideal for modern deep-sky astrophotography.
The drawtube is supported by 8 ball bearings, providing exceptional mechanical stability even when fully extended. Unlike traditional 4-bearing models, this advanced design eliminates any tilt or backlash.
The focuser uses a fine transverse-tooth bronze rack and a precisely mounted gear. Two large knobs allow smooth motion, while a third 1:10 reduction knob ensures micrometric precision focusing.
The eyepiece end features an M63x1 thread with a brass compression ring. The telescope side is machined to 77.9 mm diameter, directly fitting GSO Newtonian bases. Optional adapters make it compatible with RC GSO, Sky-Watcher refractors, SCT tubes, and more.
