Description

The Askar 71F 0.75x reducer is specifically optimized for the Askar 71F refractor. Once installed, it reduces the effective focal length to 369 mm and the focal ratio to f5.2, providing a wider field of view and shorter exposure times. This configuration is suitable for imaging nebulae, star clusters and faint or fast moving celestial objects.
This reducer also includes field correction. Its optical design is based on a triplet lens structure supporting a 44 mm image circle. The standard back focus is 55 mm, measured from the base of the M48 male thread.
Both front and rear threads use the M59x1 standard. The Askar 71F photographic extension tube, supplied with M54x0.75 and M48x0.75 adapters, allows direct connection. The adapter includes an M48x0.75 thread for direct use of 2 inch filters.
The reducer is CNC machined with a refined finish. Front and rear threaded metal caps protect the optics when not in use. Total weight is 0.23 kg.
