DESCRIPTION
The Baader Fluorite Flatfield Converter (FFC) is a premium optical converter offering variable magnification from 3x to 8x. Made from special fluorite glass, it provides outstanding flatfield correction, even for high-resolution sensors up to 90 mm diagonal. Perfect for high-definition planetary, lunar, and solar imaging, it eliminates chromatic aberrations.
Developed from professional astrophysics instruments, the FFC is compatible with sensors featuring pixel sizes down to 3.5 μm, and it covers a wide spectral range from UV to IR. Thanks to its modular design (M48 thread), it integrates easily into various imaging setups.
Included accessories:
The FFC comes with dust caps, a removable 2" nosepiece, a brass compression ring to avoid scratches, and a detailed user manual. It is factory-equipped with an M48 thread for direct mounting.
