DESCRIPTION
The Tecnosky 0.8x reducer/flattener is a high-performance optical accessory designed for 115 mm triplet APO refractors. It uses a 3-element design to both shorten the focal length and flatten the field across a full frame sensor, enabling wide-field, flat-field astrophotography.
The reducer attaches directly to Tecnosky 3" focusers using the integrated M68x1 thread. On the camera side, it offers a standard M48x0.75 thread, making it compatible with most filter wheels and DSLR/Mirrorless adapters. The corrected and illuminated image circle reaches 42 mm, ideal for full frame imaging.
It has a total length of 80 mm and requires a standard 55 mm backfocus spacing from the rear thread to the camera sensor.
