DESCRIPTION
The Baader Solar Continuum 7.5 nm 2" filter isolates the most contrast-rich wavelength of the solar spectrum (540 nm), where most optics deliver their best performance. It suppresses unwanted spectral components and reduces the impact of atmospheric turbulence, delivering sharper and more detailed solar views.
The latest 7.5 nm version outperforms previous 10 nm models and no longer requires stacking. Designed for visual and monochrome imaging use, it must always be paired with an energy-reducing system like a Baader Herschel wedge or AstroSolar film for safe solar viewing.
Equipped with Baader's Reflex-Blocker™ coatings, Life-Coat™ durability layer, and blackened edges for minimized internal reflection, this filter ensures maximum optical quality and long-term reliability.
