Description

The Baader FCCT I (Filter Changer Camera Tilter) is an innovative accessory that combines a filter changer and a mechanical image position corrector (tilter). It is specially designed for the Celestron RASA 8" astrograph and large QHY Ø77 mm cameras (e.g. QHY 174, 163, 183), making astrophotography with this setup far more convenient.

With the FCCT, both quick adjustments and the finest corrections to align the camera and filters in the optical path are possible without having to unscrew the camera each time. This makes working with the RASA 8 not only more efficient but also enjoyable.

The system uses 3D-printed filter sliders, designed exclusively for unmounted filters in sizes of 31 mm, 36 mm and 2" (without cell). Baader also offers selected 2" filters in an unmounted version for use with the FCCT, but in principle all Baader 2" filters can be used once removed from their housing.
