Description
The Baader UFC S70a to 2"/SCTi adapter enables integration of any male-threaded 2" SC accessory into the Baader Universal Filter Changer system. It offers an extremely short optical path of just 1 mm, making it especially suited for tight backfocus setups in high-performance imaging configurations.

On the telescope side, it provides a standard 2" SC female thread (50.8 mm), compatible with common telescope accessories such as nosepieces, diagonals, or correctors. The camera side features Baader’s S70 dovetail, ensuring rigid, centered mounting to the UFC Base or any compatible extension rings.

A 1 mm spacer ring is included, useful when the 2" nosepiece thread extends too far. This prevents binding or poor mechanical contact, maintaining perfect optical alignment even with heavy or off-axis loads.

This adapter is a practical and reliable solution for connecting threaded accessories to the UFC system, allowing seamless filter changes without disrupting the rest of the optical train.
