Description
The Baader UFC adapter for RASA 11" is designed to seamlessly connect Celestron’s Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph (RASA) 11" to the Baader UFC (Universal Filter Changer) system. This adapter acts as the mechanical bridge between the front plate of the telescope and the modular UFC components, including the UFC Base (#2459110) and extensions.

With an ultra-short optical height of only 3 mm, the adapter helps preserve the strict backfocus requirements of fast optical systems like the RASA. Precise mechanical tolerances ensure perfect image plane positioning and eliminate tilt or flexure under load.

The telescope side features a flange tailored to the RASA 11" optical tube, while the camera side offers the UFC-standard S70 dovetail connection. This setup allows quick mounting of the UFC filter drawer system and ensures easy access to filters without disturbing the imaging train.

This adapter is intended for demanding astrophotographers using the RASA 11", especially in remote or fixed observatory environments where filter flexibility and mechanical rigidity are key priorities.
