Description
The Baader UFC S70a to C8 Hyperstar Adapter allows precise integration of the Baader UFC filter drawer system with Hyperstar-configured Celestron C8 SCT and EdgeHD telescopes. With an ultra-low optical height of 3 mm, this adapter ensures exact backfocus alignment, which is critical when imaging at fast focal ratios like f/2.
On the telescope side, the adapter fits securely to the Hyperstar port of the C8. On the camera side, it features a standard S70 dovetail interface that connects seamlessly to the UFC Base (#2459110) or any UFC extension rings. The adapter is CNC-machined for tight tolerances, offering a secure and perfectly centered optical path.
Hyperstar imaging demands a total system spacing accuracy of ±0.3 mm. This adapter is engineered to meet those requirements, helping to maintain collimation and image quality even during filter changes.
