Description

The Baader UFC S70a to RASA 8 adapter allows direct connection of the UFC Base (filter chamber) to the front M87 thread of the Celestron RASA 8 telescope.

It is designed for cameras with 13 mm optical backfocus and T-2, M48 or M54 female threads, such as the ATIK Horizon. The adapter screws directly onto the RASA 8 front thread. On the camera side, it provides a standard S70 dovetail interface for attaching the UFC Base (#2459110) or UFC extensions.

Thanks to its ultra-low optical height of 1.4 mm, it is ideal for maintaining the tight backfocus constraints of the RASA 8.

For users requiring both filter changing and tilt adjustment, Baader also offers the FCCT (Filter Changer & Camera Tilter), dedicated to the RASA 8 and compatible with unmounted 31 mm, 36 mm and 47.4 mm filters.
