Description
The Sky Rover Optics Premium Flat Field 5.5 mm Eyepiece belongs to the Premium Flat Field series developed by Sky Rover Optics. This eyepiece range has been designed to provide a flat field of view, excellent optical correction and outstanding observing comfort in a compact format.
With its 5.5 mm focal length, this eyepiece is intended for high-magnification observations. Its Flat Field design effectively reduces field curvature and delivers sharp and uniform images across the entire apparent field.
Its optical design consists of 6 elements arranged in 4 groups. All optical surfaces feature Fully Multi-Coated FMC treatment to improve light transmission, enhance contrast and reduce internal reflections.
The 16 mm eye relief ensures excellent viewing comfort, even during extended observing sessions. The eyepiece includes a foldable eyecup and a standard 1.25-inch barrel with filter threads for 1.25-inch astronomical filters.
