Description
The Baader M62i to M72a – Hyperion DT-Ring adapter is designed to expand the compatibility of Hyperion 68° eyepieces with optical systems requiring an M72 thread.
It attaches directly to the Hyperion DT SP54i / M62a ring (ref. #2958062, required but not included), converting an internal M62 thread to an external M72 thread. This allows secure connection to larger optical accessories such as filters, step-up rings, or advanced photographic assemblies.
With an optical length of only 1 mm, it preserves the optical path while ensuring a rigid mechanical connection free of tilt or play. It is especially useful for DSLR 2" filter holders and direct projection setups with Hyperion eyepieces.
Manufactured from precision-machined metal with a durable surface finish, it ensures long-lasting reliability. Integrated into the SP54 System, it guarantees full compatibility with Baader Planetarium accessories of the same range, providing a dependable and professional solution for astrophotography and visual observation.
