Description

The iOptron HST MiniTracker Harmonic is a portable tracking system designed for astrophotography with DSLR cameras and lenses, or cameras paired with small, lightweight refractors. Its mechanical core is based on a harmonic SWG (Strain Wave Gear) drive, providing smooth, precise motion with zero backlash.

Weighing only 0.79 kg, it can carry up to 4.08 kg of payload. It offers four tracking speeds: sidereal, lunar, solar, and half-speed, which is useful for ultra-wide-field photography.

This model includes an equatorial base that makes it easy to set the tilt angle for polar alignment, along with an illuminated polar scope for comfortable aiming. The CNC-machined metal body ensures strength and stability.

The MiniTracker accepts a Vixen-style dovetail and can be mounted on a tripod via either a 3/8" or 1/4" thread. It can be powered by an internal Li-Poly battery, AAA batteries, or a 5 V USB supply. A lateral bracket is provided for a polar scope or iPolar, with a sighting hole for quick alignment.
