Description
The iOptron HAE43C AZ/EQ SWG with Handset and iPolar is a hybrid Alt-Az/Equatorial mount using Strain Wave Gear technology for smooth, accurate tracking.
Weighing just 5.7 kg, it carries up to 20 kg without counterweights. The CNC-machined, black anodized aluminum body provides durability and a professional finish. An electronic friction brake ensures safe stopping in case of planned or unplanned power loss.
With its internal control board, the mount can be operated directly via USB-C or Wi-Fi, without a separate controller. The included Go2Nova 8411 OLED handset gives access to about 212 000 celestial objects and precise GoTo functionality.
The included iPolar electronic polar scope allows fast, accurate alignment. Other features include a dual Vixen/Losmandy-D saddle, built-in ST-4 autoguiding port, automatic zero-position search, and aluminum carrying case.
Perfect for long-exposure astrophotography, visual observation, or field work, it’s a compact yet professional-grade mount designed for serious users.
