Description
The Baader 1 kg leveling counterweight is designed to provide precise balance adjustment on optical tubes or side-mounted accessories. It is machined from durable V2A stainless steel and features a standard 1/4" male/female thread, making it compatible with most Vixen-style or 3" (Losmandy-style) clamping systems.
The central thread allows multiple weights to be stacked as needed. The counterweight can be mounted directly atop a V-clamp or 3" rider clamp using a photo-standard 1/4" thread screw. Its polished, corrosion-resistant surface ensures stable and long-term use, even in observatory or humid environments.
