Description:
The Baader PAN 3" / EQ Dual Clamp 370 mm is the most extended model in Baader’s dual clamp range, providing the highest level of stability and contact surface for securing large or heavy optical tubes. Compatible with both 3" Losmandy-style and EQ-standard (Vixen/Celestron/Skywatcher) dovetail bars, it ensures rigid mounting with no risk of slippage or flex.

This model features three precision-machined brass clamping blocks, each equipped with low-profile handles that sit flush with the clamp body. The handles include integrated hex sockets for added tightening torque via Allen keys. The clamp's internal surfaces are toothed to maximize grip on a variety of dovetail profiles.

At 370 mm long, it enables better tube balance and even acts as a functional counterweight by allowing forward placement. The base is pre-drilled for direct compatibility with major mounts and systems including 10Micron, Astro-Physics, Takahashi, Vixen, Celestron (C8/C9¼/C11), and Baader systems (Stronghold, GuideScope Rings). A tangential mount (e.g., Baader Stronghold) can be attached at the front end for independent starfield imaging.
