Description
The Baader PAN 3"/EQ dual dovetail clamp is used for clamping both 3"-wide Losmandy or the Vixen-style dovetail bars. The clamp uses wide terminal blocks (2 on the 230mm length and 3 on the 370mm length) made of brass and allen key clamping handles to provide a secure and firm clamping. To maximise the points of contact with any dovetail bar, the inner clamping area has toothed counter surfaces.
The clamp has pre-drilled holes so that it can be attached to various brands of mounts from numerous manufacturers (e.g. 10Micron).
To help tighten or loosen the clamp knobs, the Baader #2450071 3-D printed wrench is recommended.
Please note: that for the short 230mm clamp, Baader recommends a minimum dovetail length of 190mm to be firmly gripped between the two terminal blocks.
