    DESCRIPTION

    The Celestron PowerTank Lithium is a portable power pack using Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry, developed specifically for computerized mounts. It delivers reliable power for up to 10 hours and offers advantages over traditional lithium-ion or lead-acid batteries.

    Thanks to its LiFePO4 chemistry, it provides up to 2000 full charge cycles—four times more than lithium-ion and seven times more than lead-acid batteries. It also retains its charge for up to 10 years without use.

    Environmentally friendly and safe, it contains no hazardous heavy metals. It’s certified IP65 for dust and splash protection, making it perfect for outdoor setups.

    The PowerTank Lithium includes two USB ports (1A and 2.1A), a 12VDC telescope output, red or white LED light panel with brightness settings, and automatic shutoff to prevent battery drain. It can be securely attached to a tripod or hung using its integrated straps.
