Designed for demanding astro-imagers, the Sky-Watcher CQ350 Pro SynScan is an observatory-class GoTo equatorial mount providing a 35 kg imaging payload capacity, excluding counterweights.
This complete version combines the CQ350 Pro mount head with a heavy-duty 2.75-inch stainless-steel tripod. Despite its substantial capacity, the system is suitable for both permanent installations and field use.
The CQ350 Pro sits between the EQ6-R and EQ8-R Pro in payload capacity. Its dual-fit saddle accepts both 45 mm and 75 mm dovetail bars, allowing a wide range of optical tubes and peripheral equipment to be installed.
Both axes use high-precision hybrid stepper motors with belt drive. This configuration provides quiet operation and precise movement.
Built-in cable management and onboard connectivity simplify the installation of a complete astrophotography system. Four USB ports, multiple power connections, an autoguider port and a camera shutter-release port are integrated into the mount.
The supplied SynScan hand controller provides access to a database containing more than 42,900 celestial objects. The mount can also be controlled from a Windows computer via USB or from iOS and Android devices with the optional Wi-Fi dongle.
35 kg Imaging Payload Capacity
The CQ350 Pro provides a 35 kg payload capacity, excluding counterweights.
This rating is specified for imaging use and allows substantial optical tubes together with cameras and imaging accessories to be installed.
2.75-Inch Stainless-Steel Tripod
This version includes a heavy-duty stainless-steel tripod.
