Description:
iOptron's HAE18C is a dual-mode AZ/EQ harmonic mount designed for high-performance astrophotography in an ultra-lightweight package. Weighing just 2.82 kg (with Vixen saddle), it supports 8.5 kg payload capacity without the need for a counterweight. It's ideal for mobile astrophotographers, minimalist rigs or fast setups.
Machined from all-metal materials with an anodized black finish, it integrates an electronic friction brake for safe stop in case of power loss. The optional Go2Nova 8411 controller ensures precise slewing, while USB and Wi-Fi ports offer full PC/tablet/smartphone integration (SkySafari Pro, iOptron Commander, INDI/Ekos).
Power and cable management are simplified with USB-C ports on the base and saddle, 12V input, and a built-in level bubble. Multiple optional accessories such as carbon tripod, counterweight shaft, and mini-pier extension allow full EQ or AZ customization.
