Description:
The iOptron HAE29C-EC AZ/EQ dual SWG with iPolar is a compact, high-precision mount for portable astronomy. It features strain wave gear drive on both axes, a high-resolution encoder on the RA axis, and real-time periodic error correction (PEC).
Weighing only 3.7 kg (8.15 lbs) with dovetail saddle, the mount handles up to 13.5 kg (29.7 lbs) of payload without counterweights, or 18 kg (40 lbs) with optional counterweights. The iPolar electronic polar scope is included, providing assisted polar alignment via software.
The mount operates without a hand controller via built-in USB and Wi-Fi. Control is possible through iOptron Commander (Windows), INDI (Linux/macOS/RPi), or compatible apps. The Go2Nova® 8411 OLED hand controller is optional.
