Description
The iOptron HAE69C AZ/EQ SWG with Handset and iPolar is part of iOptron’s latest Strain Wave Gear series. It achieves an outstanding balance between compactness, precision, and performance, supporting up to 31 kg of payload for only 9 kg of mount weight.
Utilizing Strain Wave Gear drives on both RA and DEC axes, it provides smooth tracking with periodic error under ±15 arcsec. Its CNC-machined, black anodized metal body ensures mechanical stability and long-term durability.
The mount includes an electronic friction brake, a built-in ST-4 autoguide port, dual Vixen/Losmandy-D saddle, and both USB and DC ports for connectivity. It also features Wi-Fi for direct wireless control and firmware updates via USB.
The included Go2Nova 8411 OLED handset offers precise GoTo functionality and an extensive celestial database. The iPolar electronic polar scope provides fast and accurate polar alignment.
