DESCRIPTION
The GEM45 is a modern German equatorial mount by iOptron, offering advanced functionality in a compact, CNC-machined body. It weighs only 17.5 lbs (7.9 kg) yet handles up to 45 lbs (20 kg) of payload, thanks to its efficient design.
This version features an integrated iGuider autoguiding system: a 30 mm f/4 guide scope and 1/3" imaging sensor embedded in the dual saddle, with 3.75 µm pixels. Together with iPolar, USB hub, and ST-4 port, guiding setup is simple and tidy.
The mount provides < ±7.5" periodic error, PPEC, and precise GoTo with Go2Nova (212,000+ objects). It includes GPS, USB, and optional Wi-Fi via iStarFi.
The new LiteRoc 1.75" tripod ensures solid footing. Comes with a hard carry case, counterweight, controller, and all necessary cables and power supply.
