DESCRIPTION
The CGX-L features a spring-loaded belt drive system, brass worm wheels, and stainless-steel worms to minimize friction and enhance tracking under load. All wiring is internal, keeping ports stationary and reducing the risk of cable snags.
Home position sensors allow repeatable startup regardless of orientation, and limit sensors prevent mechanical collisions. The adjustable head position ensures a balanced center of gravity and supports a wide latitude range from 3° to 65°. The dovetail saddle accepts both Vixen and Losmandy-style bars.
Electronics include a NexStar+ hand controller with USB, dual AUX ports, a USB 2.0 PC interface, autoguider port, and an internal real-time clock. The mount supports PEC, firmware updates, and PC control.
Designed for stability and ease of use, the CGX-L mount suits visual and imaging configurations requiring high load capacity and remote operation.
