    DESCRIPTION
    The ZWO ASI183MC Pro is a cooled color camera for high-end astrophotography. It features the 1″ Sony IMX183CQJ-J sensor, delivering 20.18 MP (5496 × 3672) with 2.4 µm pixels, offering exceptional resolution and detail-rich captures.

    Dual-stage TEC cooling lowers the sensor by 40–45 °C below ambient, significantly reducing thermal noise for extended exposures. With a low 1.6 e⁻ read noise (at high gain), a 12-bit ADC with 15,000 e⁻ full well, and up to 84 % peak quantum efficiency, it excels in sensitivity, including in near-infrared.

    The ASI183MC Pro handles exposures from 32 µs to 2000 s and captures up to 19 fps at full resolution. A 256 MB DDR3 buffer ensures stable USB data transfer and minimizes amp glow. The camera features USB 3.0, integrated USB 2.0 hub, ST‑4 guiding port, and M42/T2/2″ threads for easy integration.
